U.S. says lack of planes to speed up deportation of illegals

The administration of US President Donald Trump needs more military transport planes to speed up the process of deporting illegal migrants. Fox News Channel reported on January 25 that.
"Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has been hampered in deporting illegal migrants due to a lack of airplanes. Authorities are struggling to provide sufficient transportation," said White House Senior Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller.
Miller also suggested that the Trump administration wants to expand deportations and is considering seeking planes from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Department of Defense (DOD) to do so.
Earlier in the day, Mexico refused to accept a plane with deported migrants from the United States. It is noted that the reason for this decision is not clear, but a White House spokesman said that the problem with the flights was administrative and it was quickly fixed.
The first American planes with migrants arrived in Guatemala the day before, January 24. On board the aircraft were 48 men, 31 women and one unaccompanied teenager. All of them were registered and will be provided with food, clothing, and psychological care.
On the same day, US President Donald Trump said that the deportation of illegal migrants from the country was going well. The American leader noted that first of all criminals are expelled from the country.
Earlier, on January 23, FoxNews reported that in the first days of Trump's presidency, United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement detained more than 460 illegal migrants, including those with convictions for sexual and domestic violence, as well as drug and weapons offenses.
Before that, on Jan. 22, Trump restricted the right of undocumented migrants who entered the U.S. through the southern border to remain in the country under the pretext of asylum. He instructed the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of Justice and the State Department to take all necessary measures to immediately repel, repatriate and remove illegal immigrants across the country's southern border.
