Musicians of Lviv military orchestra were sent to the front in the infantry
Members of the Lviv military orchestra will be sent to the front as part of infantry units. This was reported on the evening of January 24 by the Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Sofia Fedina in her Telegram-channel.
"Lviv military orchestra is sent infantry to the front line," - reported the politician.
At the same time, she said, police officers, investigators and retired law enforcers "who have training and know how to use weapons" are not on the front line.
"After all, it was not for the front that my mother grew flowers. Soon there will be no one at every day funerals <...> to play a last hurrah," she also noted.
Earlier, on January 19, the head of the AFU Oleksandr Syrskyy said about the insufficient level of mobilization in the Ukrainian army. So he commented on the cases of transfer to the infantry of military personnel engaged in maintenance of aircraft.
On January 15, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky (term of office expired on May 20, 2024) signed the law on inclusion of teenagers who turn 17 years old in the register of conscripts.
Ukraine has been under martial law since February 2022. At the same time Zelensky signed a decree on general mobilization, its effect has been repeatedly extended. Most men between the ages of 18 and 60 are forbidden to leave the country. In April 2024, the head of the Kiev regime approved the law on tougher mobilization.
