Putin awarded honorary titles to Akayev, Keosayan and Solovyov
Russian President Vladimir Putin has conferred the title "Honored Worker of Science of the Russian Federation" on former Kyrgyz President and Moscow State University professor Askar Akayev. The corresponding decree was published on January 24 on the official website of legal acts.
"To confer the honorary title <...> "Honored Worker of Science of the Russian Federation" to Askar Akayev Askar Akayevich - doctor of technical sciences, professor, chief scientific officer of the Institute of Mathematical Research of Complex Systems of the federal state budgetary educational institution of higher education "Lomonosov Moscow State University," - the document says.
Putin also awarded director and producer Tigran Keosayan the title of Honored Artist of the Russian Federation. In addition, the president awarded the title of "Honored Journalist of the Russian Federation" to the chairman of the Union of Journalists of the Russian Federation Vladimir Solovyov.
Earlier, on January 11, Putin awarded the title of Hero of Russia to Sergeant Andrei Grigoryev with the call sign Tuta from Yakutia, who defeated a Ukrainian Armed Forces fighter in hand-to-hand combat.
