A private house caught fire in the Ryazan region due to the fall of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) debris. This was reported by Governor Pavel Malkov in his Telegram channel on Friday, January 24.

"As a result of an air attack on Ryazan, the wreckage of a drone hit a private house. There was a fire, which was eliminated as soon as possible," he specified.

According to him, there were no casualties.

Earlier in the day, Governor Malkov reported the destruction of drones over the Ryazan region. According to the governor, according to preliminary information, there were no casualties.

On January 23, the Defense Ministry reported the destruction of 49 drones over Russian territory. According to its data, 37 drones were destroyed over the territory of Kursk region, seven - over Bryansk region, another four - over the territory of the Republic of Crimea and one - over the territory of Belgorod region.

The AFU is trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
