The cost of salmon caviar in Russia decreased after the New Year holidays

The cost of salmon caviar in Russia continues to decline after the New Year holidays. This was reported by the chairman of the Fish Union Alexander Panin on January 22.

"The price marker is the cost of products in the largest specialized network: 1 kg of pink salmon caviar is sold in the range of 8-10.6 thousand rubles, chum salmon - 9.8 thousand rubles, silver salmon - 11.6 thousand rubles, nerka - 9.6 thousand rubles," - quotes his Telegram-channel of the Union.

The listed prices are about 10% less than the December values, and 15-20% less than the November ones, he added.

According to Panin, Br13 thousand for 1 kg of red caviar is clearly an "overheated" cost, and its decline in January is confirmed by the market, added "Gazeta.Ru".
