Air defense systems destroyed seven Ukrainian drones over Crimea
Russian air defense forces have eliminated seven drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) over Crimea. This was reported in the Russian Defense Ministry on January 21.
"From 19:20 to 20:15 Moscow time, on-duty air defense means destroyed seven Ukrainian drones over the territory of the Republic of Crimea," the ministry said in its Telegram channel.
Earlier in the day, the ministry said that air defense means shot down five Ukrainian drones over the territory of Belgorod region from 13:05 to 14:15 Moscow time, reports "Gazeta.Ru".
At the same time, the ministry said that air defense forces shot down 11 AFU drones from 11:00 to 11:50 Moscow time: eight - over Crimea and the Black Sea and three more - over the Belgorod region.
Also on the same day, air defense forces destroyed three Ukrainian drones over the Black Sea and Crimea between 10:45 and 11:00 Moscow time.
Ukrainian militants are trying to strike Russian territories against the backdrop of the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
