The Russian Air Defense Forces have destroyed three Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over the Black Sea off the coast of Crimea. This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on January 21.

It is specified that the drones were eliminated from 10:45 to 11:00 Moscow time.

"On January twenty-first, 2025, between 10:45 and 11:00 Moscow time, on-duty air defense forces destroyed three Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles over the waters of the Black Sea off the coast of the Republic of Crimea," - stated in the message of the department.

On the same day, air defense forces destroyed 55 Ukrainian drones over the regions of the Russian Federation last night. It is specified that 22 of them - over the territory of the Bryansk region, 12 - over the territory of the Rostov region, ten - over the territory of the Smolensk region, six drones - over the territory of the Voronezh region, four - over the territory of the Saratov region and one more - over the territory of the Kursk region.

Ukrainian militants are trying to strike Russian territories against the backdrop of the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
