President of the Moscow Figure Skating Federation (MFKF) Anton Abdurakhmanov has left Russia. This was reported by RIA Novosti on Monday, December 20.
Sources told the publication that Abdurakhmanov left Russia several months ago.
The agency notes that the departure of the federation's president occurred "for legal reasons," but no details are given. The federation is trying to organize work in a normal mode, but the leadership of Moskomsport has already received information about the departure of the functionary.
With a high degree of probability, the FFKM will have a new president. But according to the regulations, he will be elected not earlier than May.
Earlier, on January 18, Russian figure skater Adelia Petrosyan won the Russian Jumping Championship, which was held on January 18 and 19 in St. Petersburg. She scored 119.38 points. The second place went to Evgeny Plushenko's mentee Sofya Muravyeva (111.81), the third place went to Anna Frolova (110.54), who studies with Evgeny Rukavitsyn.
