Russian comedy "Vasily" will hit the big screens on January 23

Created with the participation of the National Media Group (NMG) domestic comedy "Vasily" will be released on the big screens on January 23. The motion picture will tell the story of twins, who by some circumstances are associated with the Mexican mafia.

Director of the film Dmitry Litvinenko noted the correctness of the choice of the name of the picture. According to him, Vasya is "such our name", which contains the Russian code and spirit.

"They (the twins in the movie. - Ed.) interact very well with each other, and the outside world is almost uninteresting to them. They can quietly exist, but it is much more difficult for them to exist without each other," said psychologist Anastasia Vertinskaya.

Despite the kinship, twins are quite different. Such a phenomenon is not uncommon in reality. For example, twins Julia and Anna Fukalova shared that they have different characters. At the same time at school, Anna always "saved" Yulia in the literature class during the story poems - they swapped coats under the desk and replaced each other, which no one guessed because of the external similarity.

"Two brothers, it would seem, but they're completely different. And that's how it also happens: from the same mom, from the same dad, yet completely different temperaments, completely different behaviors. And it was, of course, in an acting way insanely interesting," - emphasized the actor Alexander Petrov, who performed the main role.

Producer Alexander Andryushchenko shared that the plot is an adventure and dramatic conflict, which is based on the difference between the brothers, but also in their tangible connection. The main issue of the story he called the likelihood of the twins existing together.

Director Litvinenko said that the character Vasily associates himself with Bagrov. At the same time, the performer of the main role Petrov noted that he considers references to the movie Balabanov almost obligatory.
