The governor of the Bryansk region reported the destruction of two more Ukrainian UAVs

Air defense forces have destroyed two more Ukrainian drones over the Bryansk Region. This was reported by the governor of the region Alexander Bogomaz on January 18.

"Two more enemy UAVs of aircraft type have been detected and destroyed by the air defense forces of the Russian Defense Ministry over the Bryansk region," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

Bogomaz specified that no one was injured as a result of the incident, there is also no destruction, and operational services are working on the site.

Earlier, on January 17, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that air defense forces destroyed seven Ukrainian drones over the Bryansk region. At the same time, the governor of the region, Alexander Bogomaz, said that there were no casualties or damage as a result of the UAV attack, and specialists were working on the site.

Ukrainian militants are trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the beginning of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
