The fire on the territory of an industrial enterprise in the town of Lyudinovo was caused by a drone attack in the Kaluga region. This was reported by the governor of the region Vladislav Shapsha on January 17.

"On the territory of the city of Lyudinovo as a result of a UAV attack there was a fire on the territory of an industrial enterprise," he wrote in his Telegram-channel.

Shapsha specified that a task force is working at the scene. According to preliminary data, there are no casualties.

Earlier, on January 15, the governor of the Voronezh region, Alexander Gusev, reported a fire on the territory of the oil depot as a result of the fall of several Ukrainian drones.

Later, he ruled out a threat to the population due to the oil depot fire. According to him, on the night of January 16, three districts of the region were attacked by 10 Ukrainian drones, most of the attacks came to an oil depot in the Liskinsky district, where a fire started.

Ukrainian militants have been trying to strike Russian territories amid a special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
