Blinken stated a huge number of complex problems for the U.S.

U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said during his farewell address to State Department employees that the United States faced multiple and interrelated challenges. This was reported on January 17 by the American television station WWLP.

The publication said Blinken expressed respect for the work of the staff over the past four years as America has faced many challenges during that time.

"In my experience, in more than 32 years, I have never seen anything like this before - a greater diversity, complexity and interconnectedness of problems," RIA Novosti quoted the US Secretary of State as saying.

Blinken noted that the problems now facing the country are only growing.

Earlier, on January 14, it became known that, according to a Gallup poll, the majority of US residents believe that during the activities of President Joe Biden, the situation in the economy, fighting crime in the country has deteriorated.

Earlier in the day, US President-elect Donald Trump said that he considers the foreign policy of Joe Biden terrible. In his opinion, Biden in four years brought the United States to the lowest point in history.

Before that, on January 13, President Biden's job approval rating fell to 35.6%. It is noted that only 35.6% of the population approve of Biden's work as leader of the country, while 57.1% disapprove of his work.
