More than 60% of men surveyed said they were willing to share household responsibilities

More than half of the surveyed men (64%) said that they regularly do household chores. Of women, 56% call domestic life their territory, according to the results of a survey by the dating service Mamba, which were reported by Izvestia on January 16.

At the same time, 7% of women and 6% of men put all the cares on the shoulders of partners or professional household helpers.

In addition, the experts found out that 58% of women consider it unacceptable if a man ignores household chores, and another 40% of ladies do not see it as a problem and usually agree with a partner. Among men, only 33% have a negative attitude to unfulfilled duties on the part of a partner, and 61% are ready to take on additional tasks at home. Another 5% said they could hire a housekeeper.

The majority (71%) of Russian women named the creation of coziness as their main task, and 28% - washing and ironing clothes. Cooking and cleaning were at the end of the list - 14% and 15% respectively. Men, speaking about what is considered "women's work", put coziness in the first place (54%), but consider cooking and keeping clean to be more important female duties (35%).

At the same time, the stronger sex considers hard physical labor (74%), repairs (67%) and car care (34%) as their primary tasks. And women fully agree with this.

At the same time, 32% of men and 22% of women consider financial management their area of responsibility.

At the same time, the majority of Russians are ready to help each other: 56% of men confidently state that they can cope with any "women's" work, and 39% are ready to take on these responsibilities even temporarily. More than half (59%) are ready to take on a shopping trip, 53% - to please their loved ones with culinary masterpieces, 39% - to put the apartment in perfect order, and a third (34%) - do not mind devoting more time to children.

Among women 16% answered that they would easily take on "men's" work, 57% are ready to help with it if necessary. Half of respondents (44%) agree to regularly buy household appliances, 30% would be willing to take on financial issues and manage the family budget. Every fourth woman (26%) is ready to deal with car maintenance, and 6% agree to be responsible for repairs from small gadgets to furniture and the whole house.

But while modern men are not afraid of housework, 61% of them still hold traditional views on gender roles. And 64% of women are actively in favor of equality in family matters.

Experts also learned that women are increasingly thinking that domestic labor is also a job worthy of payment. More than half of the ladies (53%) are sure that cleaning and cooking require no less resources than working in an office. Although for 37% of women household chores remain a manifestation of love and care, where talk about money is inappropriate. Among men, 52% are strongly opposed to monetary valuation of household chores, and only one in four (26%) support the idea of paying for household labor. But despite all the talk about prizes and bonuses for housework, less than 3% of Russians share this approach. The majority chooses to distribute responsibilities according to the principle of "who gets what better" (58% of women and 45% of men) or turn housework into a joint pastime (25% of women and 39% of men).

It turned out that women expect and willingly accept the help of loved ones in household chores. More than 37% consider it a manifestation of care, and 26% are happy to see the initiative of children. At the same time, 10% of Russian women noted that more cleaning is required after cooking together with the household, but, despite this, they are happy about the participation of loved ones.
