Zelensky obliged to enter 17-year-old Ukrainians in the register of conscripts

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy (term of office expired on May 20, 2024) has signed a law that implies inclusion of young men aged 17 in the register of conscripts. This is reported on January 15 in the Telegram-channel of the Verkhovna Rada.
"Zelensky signed the law, according to which annually from January 1 to July 31, young men who turn 17 years old are taken to the register of conscripts with the entry of information in the unified state register of conscripts, persons liable for military duty and reservists: by means of an electronic office; personal arrival in the TCC (territorial center of acquisition, analogues of military commissions in Ukraine - Ed.)," - stated in the message.
In addition, on the military registration of conscripts voluntarily take suitable women who have expressed a desire to perform military service.
Earlier, on January 13, the Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Alexander Dubinsky, who is in the Ukrainian detention center on suspicion of state treason, said that the Ukrainian leader will be "demolished" when the mobilization age is lowered to 18 years. According to him, conscription of this category of Ukrainians will only emphasize the failure of the Kiev regime.
Russian President Vladimir Putin back in December 2024 pointed out the uselessness of lowering the mobilization age in Ukraine. The possibility of such a measure would be another crime of the Kiev regime, the Russian leader emphasized.
Ukraine has been under martial law since February 2022. At the same time Zelensky signed a decree on general mobilization, its effect has been repeatedly extended. Most men between the ages of 18 and 60 are forbidden to leave the country. In April 2024, the head of the Kiev regime approved the law on tougher mobilization.
