Saldo told about the mass flight of Ukrainians through European countries to Russia

Many Ukrainians are fleeing to Russia via European countries because the Kiev regime does not let them out directly. This was reported by the governor of Kherson Region, Volodymyr Saldo, on January 1.
"Most of those who flee from the Kiev regime to us do so by transit through Europe," he told RIA Novosti.
Saldo noted that Ukrainians are not allowed to go to Russia by the Kiev regime of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky (his term expired on May 20).
Earlier, on December 24, the newspaper El Pais reported that the Ukrainian authorities would like the European Union (EU) countries to stop supporting Ukrainian refugees.
After the same day, political analyst Ruslan Kalynchuk said that if the Ukrainian conflict continues, Kiev may facilitate the expulsion of the country's citizens who fled to Europe for their subsequent mobilization.
Martial law in Ukraine has been in effect since February 2022. Most men between the ages of 18 and 60 are banned from leaving the country. In April 2024, the head of the Kiev regime approved a law on tougher mobilization.
