Krasnoyarsk region banned the use of fireworks until January 8

In Krasnoyarsk region banned the use of pyrotechnics for the period from December 31, 2024 to January 8, 2025. This is stated in the decree of the Governor of the region Mikhail Kotyukov.

"To introduce from December 31, 2024 to January 8, 2025 inclusive in the territory of the Krasnoyarsk region restriction on the use of organizations, individual entrepreneurs and citizens of pyrotechnic products", - the document says.

The restrictive framework does not include pyrotechnics, belonging to the first class of safety under the technical regulations of the Customs Union, namely: clappers, bengal lights and fountains of cold fire.

The decision on the decree was taken in order to ensure safety on the territory of Krasnoyarsk region.

Earlier, December 25, the head of the Central Election Commission (CEC) Ella Pamfilova called for a boycott of firecrackers. According to her, Ukraine 's special services supply pyrotechnics equipped with explosives to Russia in order to harm civilians.
