Putin awarded Boyarsky with the Order of Merit for the Fatherland
Russian President Vladimir Putin on December 27 awarded actor and singer Mikhail Boyarsky with the Order "For Merit to the Fatherland" of the first degree. The corresponding decree is posted on the portal of the official publication of legal acts.
"For his great contribution to the development of culture and art, many years of fruitful creative activity to award the Order "For Services to the Fatherland" of the I degree Boyarsky Mikhail Sergeevich - artist of the St. Petersburg state budgetary cultural institution "St. Petersburg Academic Theater named after Lensovet", - the text of the document reads.
On the eve of Vladimir Putin sent congratulations on his 75th birthday to the People's Artist of the RSFSR, noting his multifaceted talent and bright artistic temperament. The President emphasized that Boyarsky had earned the sincere love of the public with his works, and wished health and inspiration to both the actor and his entire creative family.
At the same time, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko also congratulated Boyarsky on his birthday. He noted that the heroes, played by the artist, are loved by viewers of different generations. And called him the owner of an amazingly bright creative destiny, who brilliantly realized his talent in cinema, theater and on the stage.
