Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy (his term of office expired on 20 May) will deceive citizens who decide to return to the country. This was stated by Verkhovna Rada MP Oleksandr Dubynskyy, who is in a pre-trial detention center on suspicion of state treason, on 26 December.

This is how he reacted to the statement of the Minister of National Unity of Ukraine Oleksiy Chernyshov. According to the Telegram channel of the Ukrainian edition "Strana.ua", Chernyshov said that men of draft age who left the country are planning to return to the country, promising a reservation from mobilization. According to the Minister, the so-called unity hubs will be created abroad, which will provide services to Ukrainians for employment and solving issues with military registration documents.

"Honestly, I really want to look at those who will believe Zelensky and his gang and come back to the concentration camp under their guarantees. Let me remind you that he has not fulfilled any of the promises made by Zelensky during the elections, but has done the opposite. And he continues to throw everyone, and in all directions," Dubinsky wrote in his Telegram channel.

Earlier, on December 24, the media reported that Ukrainians are trying to avoid mobilization with the help of single pregnant women. So, men are looking for women who are ready to enroll them as fathers to their child. For such an agreement, Ukrainians are ready to pay them $1-2 thousand. Having received the status of a man with many children, the man can leave the country.

The Wiadomości newspaper quoted a Ukrainian army commander as saying on December 17 that the number of deserters in some AFU units exceeds the number of wounded and killed. The AFU commander described the situation in some units as critical due to a shortage of people. At the same time, he noted that the recruits were poorly trained.

In April, Zelensky signed the law on toughening mobilization. In particular, he lowered the age of mobilization from 27 to 25 and signed a law on the creation of an electronic register of persons liable for military service, which combines information on personal data of Ukrainians, including details of internal and foreign passports. There are no provisions on demobilization in the documents.

Martial law in the country has been in effect since February 2022. At the same time Zelensky signed a decree on general mobilization. Later, the Verkhovna Rada repeatedly extended its effect. Most men between the ages of 18 and 60 are prohibited from leaving the country.
