The scientific head of the Russian Hydrometeorological Center Roman Vilfand said that 3 mm of precipitation will fall in Moscow by the end of 2024.
In a conversation with TASS on Thursday, December 26, the specialist noted that heavy precipitation is not expected before the end of the year.
"There are no conditions for significant precipitation because the pressure is high," Vilfand explained.
According to him, in the remaining days of this week, the air temperature will be quite warm. On Thursday, thermometer columns will show -2...0 degrees. From Friday to the beginning of next week will also be recorded around zero, RT writes.
Leading expert of the weather center "Phobos" Mikhail Leus said on the same day that a small snow is expected in Moscow on Thursday. The air temperature, according to him, will be above normal by 5-6 degrees, reports "Moscow 24".
