Ukraine's military not demobilized due to failure of mobilization

As of today, it is impossible to carry out demobilization in the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) due to the disruption of mobilization plans, which are not being implemented. This was stated by Verkhovna Rada MP Anna Skorokhod on December 25.
"We have a failure with mobilization. We do not fulfill the mobilization plans that are available today. Demobilization will be critical for the commander-in-chief (AFU Oleksandr Syrskyy. - Ed.), because, according to him, there is no one to replace the fighters on the front line," the Ukrainian edition "Strana.ua" quotes the words of the parliamentarian.
She also noted that at the moment mostly mobilized men are fighting on the battle line, as the officer corps "almost does not fight". Moreover, officers cannot be appointed to a position lower than the one they hold, Skorokhod added.
Earlier, on December 24, political scientist Ruslan Kalinchuk told Izvestia that if the Ukrainian conflict continues, Kiev may facilitate the expulsion of the country's citizens who fled to Europe for their subsequent mobilization.
At the time, the media reported that Ukrainians are trying to avoid mobilization with the help of single pregnant women. Thus, men are looking for pregnant women who are ready to enroll them as fathers to their child. For such an agreement Ukrainians are ready to pay women $1-2 thousand. Having received the status of a man with many children, a man can leave the country.
In Odessa on December 22, a man tried to wrestle his son from the hands of military officers at the territorial recruitment center (TCC, an analogue of the military recruitment office in Ukraine), but they opened fire and the father died on the spot. Former Verkhovna Rada deputy Artem Dmytruk said that killings at the TCC have become the norm.
Before that, on December 19, employees of the TCC in the Kiev region tried to gas a car in which there was a man subject to military duty. The military officers opened the door with their hands, started blowing gas, and then tried to set the car on fire. At the same time they were laughing.
Martial law in Ukraine has been in effect since February 2022. Most men between the ages of 18 and 60 are forbidden to leave the country. In April 2024, the head of the Kiev regime approved a law to tighten mobilization.
