Moldavia opposed the glorification of soldiers who fought on the side of the Nazis

Moldovan MP Irina Lozovan from the Victory bloc has expressed her position against the glorification of soldiers who fought on the side of the Nazis during World War II. She stated this on December 25 in her Telegram channel.
"Moldova's history is being rewritten before our eyes. One after another, monuments to the soldiers of the Romanian army, who fought on the side of Hitler's Germany and brought death and suffering to our land, are being opened," - in this way Lozovan commented on the opening of a monument to Romanian soldiers who fought for the Nazis.
The MP demanded to stop creating monuments, which, according to her, infringe on the memory of real heroes and glorify "executioners of the Moldovan people". Ms. Lozovan expressed the opinion that the country is substituting historical facts in order to "serve the Western curators - the descendants of fascist soldiers".
On December 24, a monument to Romanian soldiers who fought for the Nazis during World War II was unveiled in the village of Larguta in Moldova. Romanian-German fascist troops wanted to destroy the Soviet border units, and all the Romanian "heroism" was manifested in the fact that their officers led their troops to death and suffered heavy losses under Soviet fire, explained the head of the search movement and head of the Moldovan national organizing committee "Victory" Alexei Petrovich.
