The Social Fund of the Russian Federation will early pay part of January pensions at the end of 2024

Some pensioners will be able to receive pension accrual for January ahead of schedule, at the end of 2024. This was reported in the press service of the Social Fund of Russia on December 23.

"Until December 28, early payments for January will arrive to those whose pension transfer through the bank falls on the days of the New Year holidays from the 1st to the 9th," - told in Telegram-channel.

The message also noted that early payments affect all types of pensions, including insurance, social, cumulative, old-age and disability pensions. In addition, pensions for January will come in the indexed amount.

Earlier, on December 22, the chairman of the Moscow City Duma Commission on Economic and Social Policy Lyudmila Guseva reported that from January 1, 2025 the amount of social supplementary payment in Moscow will be increased and with it the pension monthly payment will be up to 25 850 rubles. It is specified that the Moscow standard will also be indexed by 5.5% and for pensioners who permanently reside in Moscow for more than 10 years will amount to 25 850 rubles. In addition, Guseva reminded that the issue of indexation of pensions is handled by the Social Fund of the Russian Federation.

Earlier, on December 13, David Adams, general director of the AID professional legal group, lawyer, told Izvestia that federal and regional social additional payments to pensions play an important role in supporting pensioners whose income does not reach the subsistence level.
