The weather in Moscow this week will resemble pre-winter weather, rather than real winter weather, with temperatures 2-4 degrees above average. Alexander Shuvalov, head of the Meteo forecasting center, told Izvestia on December 23 about the weather in the capital for the week.

"There will be nothing outstanding in the weather this week, it is by nature and all parameters more like pre-winter than winter. The temperature will be above average by 2-4 degrees," Shuvalov explained.

This week in Moscow the temperature is predicted to range from 0 to +1 degrees. Nighttime figures are expected to be within +1...+3 degrees, and daily fluctuations will be virtually absent.

On Tuesday, December 24, precipitation in the form of wet snow is expected, it will be small, the layer of precipitation will cover the ground by 1-2 cm.

The expert noted that the only indicator that will show dynamics will be the atmospheric pressure, which will increase by 10-15 mm Hg from December 23 to 25.

"The weather will be flat, mostly without precipitation and with temperatures around 0 degrees Celsius, and so it will be until the end of this pre-New Year's week," summarized Shuvalov.

Earlier, on December 22, therapist "INVITRO-Privolzhie" Tatyana Taradeeva told "Izvestia" about the danger of temperature changes for human health. According to her, such abrupt changes are a stress for the body's thermoregulatory system. This can lead to malfunctions in the immune system, which makes a person more vulnerable to infections.
