In western Ukraine, a drunken employee of the territorial recruitment center (TCC, an analogue of the military recruitment office in Ukraine) crashed into a car carrying a family with children. This was reported by the Strana.ua news and analysis website on December 22.

It was specified that the incident occurred in the city of Kovel in Volyn region. The local military enlistment office confirmed the incident.

"In Kovel, a drunken employee of the TCK crashed into a car with children. Video of the moment of the accident appeared in the network. There was seen a man in military uniform", - stated in the message published in the Telegram-channel.

It was specified that as a result there were no victims.

Earlier in the day, former Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Artem Dmytruk reported that there was a shooting in the TCC of Odessa, which resulted in the death of a father who tried to save his son from mobilization. It was specified that he tried to wrestle his son from the hands of employees.

Before that, on December 19, it was reported that in Ukraine, employees of the territorial center of manning let gas into the car to force out a person liable for military service. Several people in uniform surrounded the car. After opening the door with their hands, the employees let gas into the car and then tried to set it on fire.

Martial law in Ukraine has been in effect since February 2022. Then the country's President Volodymyr Zelensky (whose powers expired on May 20) signed a decree on general mobilization. Later, the Verkhovna Rada repeatedly extended its effect. Most men between the ages of 18 and 60 are forbidden to leave the country. In April 2024, the head of the Kiev regime approved the law on tougher mobilization.
