Grigorenko, Siluanov and Saveliev took part in the "Christmas Tree of Wishes" event

Deputy Prime Minister and Chief of Staff of the Government of the Russian Federation Dmitry Grigorenko, Deputy Prime Minister Vitaly Savelyev and Finance Minister Anton Siluanov took part in the New Year's Wish Tree campaign. On December 20, they took cards with wishes of six children off the Christmas tree.

For example, Grigorenko took down the card of eight-year-old Tatiana from the Moscow region, who dreams of attending the ballet "The Nutcracker" at the Bolshoi Theater.

"I too dream of visiting the ballet "The Nutcracker" at the Bolshoi Theater!" - he addressed the girl.

In turn, Savelyev chose three wishes at once: 11-year-old Gleb from Ivanovo, who dreams of attending the Russian Christmas festival, nine-year-old Kristina from Moscow, who wants a dance mat, and 14-year-old Maxim from the Moscow region, who dreams of being an assistant referee at a hockey game. Deputy Prime Minister promised to help the children fulfill their wishes and congratulated them on the coming New Year.

Two more cards were removed from the New Year tree by the Russian Finance Minister - these were the wishes of eight-year-old Artem from the Orenburg region, who dreams of a drum kit, and 16-year-old Polina from the Khabarovsk region, who wishes to meet theater and film actor Yevgeny Mironov.

"In the New Year, wishes come true. Exactly at Polina and Artem everything will come true," concluded Siluanov.

Earlier in the day, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov also took part in the festive action. He took off the Christmas tree cards with the wishes of 12 children, which he promised to fulfill in honor of the coming holiday.

The "Wishing Tree" charity event is a project of the Russian "Movement of the First" with the support of Rosmolodezh, which has been taking place since 2018 and lasts from mid-November to the end of February. Thanks to the campaign, children aged 3-17 who find themselves in a difficult life situation get the opportunity to fulfill a cherished wish or receive a gift for the New Year. In 2023, the Wishing Tree started on November 15 and runs until February 28, 2024.
