Russian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday, December 19, during the "Results of the Year" wished Russians to devote more time to their loved ones on the eve of the New Year.

The head of state reminded that he treats the whole of Russia as his family, and the "Results of the Year" is a conversation of representatives of different nations and confessions, which is held shortly before the bright family holidays of New Year and Christmas. Putin said that a wide variety of people he meets share with him that they devote sometimes too little time to their children.

"On the eve of the New Year, and this is a family holiday, and even more so Christmas, I would like to wish that more attention be paid to their loved ones. And I would like to wish everyone success, happiness and prosperity," the President summarized.

The direct line with Vladimir Putin in 2024 will be combined with a press conference for the media. The format called "Results of the Year with Vladimir Putin" allows the president to convey his position not only on citizens' issues, but also on the state and world agenda, which is often asked by journalists. Invitations to the events were also extended to representatives of Western media and foreign journalists accredited in the Russian Federation.
