List of people hospitalized after train collision near Murmansk published

On December 18, Governor of Murmansk region Andrei Chibis published a list of 15 hospitalized victims of the railway accident in the region.

Thus, three people were hospitalized in the city of Polyarnye Zori: Tatyana Platonova (66 years old), Sergey Eremeev (67 years old) and Vladimir Mironenko (69 years old).

Another victim Shishov Daniil Evgenyevich Shishov (29 years old) was hospitalized in the Apatity-Kirov central district hospital.

Eleven victims, including two children, were hospitalized in Kandalaksha Central District Hospital: Eliseeva Olga Lvovna (38 years old), Lotnikov Mikhail Alexandrovich (10 years old), Drozhzhzhina Maria Vyacheslavovna (8 years old), Eremeeva Natalia Gerasimovna (58 years old), Nizhankevich Alexandra Sergeevna (30 years old), Kosheleva Galina Nikolaevna (72 years old), Lotnikov Alexander Sergeevich (42 years old), Lotnikova Irina Alexandrovna (42 years old), as well as two women (50 and 47 years old) and a man (50 years old). Their identities are being established.

"The identity of the deceased, who was about 50 years old, continues to be established," Chibis specified in the Telegram-channel.

Thecollision of two trains occurred earlier in the day at the arrival of a passengertrain at Knyazhaya station in the Murmansk region. The passenger train, traveling on the route Murmansk - St. Petersburg, collided with a freight train. As a result of the collision, three cars of the passenger train and several freight cars derailed.

At the time of the accident in the passenger train were 326 people, including pupils of children's sports school boxing from Severomorsk. It was noted that the children and the coach were not injured. The press service of Russian Railways reported that one of the victims died in an ambulance. Assistant Minister of Health Alexei Kuznetsov specified that the condition of five more victims is assessed as serious.

After the collision of the trains, the transport department of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia opened a criminal case under Article 263 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of the rules of safety of movement and operation of railway transport").

"Izvestia" also published footage from the passenger train. They show people trying to pass from one carriage to another, but because of the deformation, the doors do not open. Some passengers can not get to their belongings, as they remained in the affected parts of the train.
