This statement was made by the press secretary of the head of state Dmitry Peskov in a conversation with Izvestia.

"He receives from the very beginning the appeals of citizens. Each one is printed on a separate sheet, and he has the opportunity to look at some of them. He always does this and looks at quite a lot of them. <...> The president, I repeat once again, prepares very responsibly every time and updates the entire knowledge base on all sectors of our economy," the presidential spokesman explained.

Earlier in the day, Peskov told Izvestia that the popularity rating of questions from the population, received this year on a direct line with the Russian president, was very helpful in processing artificial intelligence (AI). Citizens are most interested in questions related to the special military operation, he noted.

On December 17, the headquarters of the movement "People's Front" reported that the number of appeals to a direct line with the head of state exceeded 1.4 million applications. It was noted that the most popular way to ask a question remained calls, they received more than 780 thousand.

The direct line of the head of state will be combined with a large press conference. The events will be held under the title "The results of the year with Vladimir Putin". Representatives of Western media and foreign journalists accredited in Russia have received invitations.
