Russians told about preparations for corporate parties on New Year's Eve


More than half (59%) of Russians wear their best outfits to a corporate event for their own sake, not for the sake of their colleagues, and 40% intend to spend no more than 5 thousand rubles on the image. At the same time, men avoid such events five times more often than women. This follows from the results of a survey of jewelry brand Sokolov and retailer Lamoda, which "Izvestia" read on December 20.
The survey shows that 45% of Russians like to participate in corporate parties, considering them a great opportunity to communicate with colleagues. However, there are also those who prefer to avoid them. Thus, men are more inclined to skip such events - 21% of them do not attend them at all, while among women there are only 4%. Russians consider the ideal corporate party to be a buffet party, which was chosen by more than half of the respondents. The importance of good music, delicious food and dancing at the party is emphasized.
It is noted that 59% of respondents try to look good at the corporate party first of all for themselves to be more confident and attractive. Another 16% want to impress colleagues of the opposite sex, and 8% take into account the competition with colleagues of their own sex.
In addition, 39% of respondents choose a new image especially for the holiday, and 49% update their outfit if they feel such a need. Men, in their turn, are more inclined to use things from their closet - 45% prefer to wear already available items, and only 19% consider the corporate event a reason to buy new clothes or jewelry.
The study showed that Russian women most often choose dressy cocktail and evening dresses for corporate parties (52%), and every third woman buys skirts and blouses. Men, in turn, usually buys shirts and pants (25%), and also gives preference to sportswear for outdoor activities (15%).
Experts specified that more than half of respondents (55%) plan to supplement their New Year images with jewelry. At the same time, men more often choose accessories that fit the holiday outfit - 62% of respondents do so. Women demonstrate a more practical approach - every second one buys jewelry that can be worn after the holidays.
As for the budget for the image for the corporate party, the study showed that Russians do not want to spend too much - 42% allocate the amount of 5 thousand to 10 thousand rubles, and 40% are ready to settle in 5 thousand rubles. Only 7% plan to spend from Br10 thousand to Br15 thousand, and only 5% - from Br15 thousand to Br20 thousand. Interestingly, men are more likely to choose the minimum spending - 46% of them are within Br5 thousand, while women are more likely to allow spending more than Br10 thousand.
