36 billion rubles will be allocated for preferential car loans in 2025


In Russia, it is planned to allocate 36 billion rubles for the state program of preferential car loans in 2025, and 27 billion rubles for the state program of preferential leasing. This was reported by the Director of the Department of Automotive Industry and Railway Engineering of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Tigran Parsadanyan on December 17.
Earlier in December, the government announced that more than 18 billion rubles will be additionally allocated for the implementation of preferential car lending and leasing programs. In total, almost 45 billion rubles have been allocated in these areas this year.
As TASS reports, people with health limitations, medical workers, teachers, participants of the SWO and their families can get a discount of up to 25% when buying a car with an internal combustion engine costing up to Br2 million and scoring at least 1.6 thousand points for localization. When buying an electric car, the price will be reduced by 35%.
Earlier in the day it was reported that the number of issued car loans for new and used cars in November 2024 fell by 30.4% compared to October, and for two months, the issuance fell by more than half - by 51.3% relative to September.
On December 4, the head of AvtoVAZ, Maxim Sokolov, said that the increase in the key rate and the tightening of lending standards had made car loans almost unaffordable for Russians.
