LDPR Chairman Leonid Slutsky recalled the joint work with the head of the Radiation, Chemical and Biological Defense (RCDBZ) troops, Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov, who died on December 17 in Moscow. The politician told about it.

He called Kirillov the highest professional and recalled the time when they studied the centers of chemical and biological impact on people, created by the United States around the world, in particular on the territory of Ukraine.

The politician also expressed his condolences to the loved ones of the deceased.

"We are deeply saddened, we express our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Igor Anatolievich and his assistant," Slutsky said.

The LDPR chairman expressed hope that in the near future all those responsible will be punished according to the law.

December 17, it became known about the death of Igor Kirillov and his assistant. According to the version of the investigation, the military died as a result of detonation of an explosive device, planted in a scooter, standing near the entrance. The explosion occurred near a seven-story apartment building on Ryazansky Avenue in Moscow. A criminal case of murder and terrorist act was opened over the incident.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov had been systematically exposing the West's crimes for many years. The diplomat noted that the serviceman worked fearlessly and never hid behind the backs of others. He fought for the Motherland and for the truth.
