Frosts up to -38 degrees are expected in the Murmansk region this week


In the Murmansk region this week is expected frost up to -38 degrees Celsius. This was reported on December 16 by the scientific head of the Russian Hydrometeorological Center Roman Vilfand.
"On Monday and Tuesday in the Murmansk region [is expected] wow what kind of frost, which has not been for a long time: -35...-38 degrees," - his words TASS reports.
Vilfand noted that the temperature drop will also be observed in the Leningrad region: -11...-16 degrees at night.
The weather will also come to the Kaliningrad region, the forecaster added. According to him, the wind will increase to 25-29 m/s on Monday in the region.
