Forecaster predicts wet snow at the end of the week in Moscow

The weather in Moscow this week will be quite unstable, and the atmospheric pressure will change significantly. Tatyana Pozdnyakova, a leading specialist of the Meteonovosti information agency, told Izvestia on December 16 about the weather in Moscow for the week.

"This week the weather will be quite unstable. First, the atmospheric pressure will change significantly, today it is very low, 20 units below the norm. Then it will rise and fall again, the temperature regime will also change with the change of processes", - explained Pozdnyakova.

According to her, on December 16 and 17, the air temperature will approach the zero mark, precipitation is expected. On Monday, snow and snowstorms are expected, and later - light rains, possible wet snow together with drizzle, which may cause the formation of icicles. In some places ice is possible. The speed of wind gusts may reach 12-15 m/s, and by evening a snowstorm is not excluded.
