Forecasters predicted snow and icy conditions in Moscow on December 14

Cloudy, snow, icy conditions - such weather is expected for residents of the capital region on Saturday, December 14. The corresponding forecast is published on the website of the Hydrometeorological Center.

The air temperature in Moscow during the day will vary from -6 to -4 degrees. At night, the thermometer columns will drop to -7.

In Moscow region during the day forecasters promise from -8 to -3 degrees, at night the temperature may fall to -10.

A southwest wind with a speed of 6-11 m/s is expected.

Atmospheric pressure will be 743 mm of mercury column.

Earlier, on December 13, leading specialist of the weather center "Phobos" Mikhail Leus said that this day was the coldest of winter days so far. However, according to the forecaster, already on the night of December 14, the temperature will drop again. Leus emphasized that -9 ... -11 degrees should be expected by morning in the capital.

On the same day, "Yandex Weather" noted that on Saturday, December 14, in Moscow, the sky will be cloudy and snow is expected throughout the day. A moderate southwesterly wind with gusts up to 3.2 m/s is forecast. In the morning the air temperature will be -7...-8 degrees, and in the evening and at night will remain at -4...-5 degrees. On Sunday, the weather will also be cloudy.

December 11 in Moscow and the Moscow region extended the "yellow" level of weather danger due to icy conditions until the morning of December 12.

On the same day, the Hydrometeorological Center reported that residents of the capital region expect cloudy weather, light precipitation (snow, wet snow), ice in places.
