The festival "Ice Moscow. In the family circle" will be held on Poklonnaya Hill from December 29 to January 12. This was announced by the press service of the festival on Friday, December 13.

"This is the only event in Russia of this level, designed for family and children's leisure in winter time. Getting on the festival site, guests will plunge into the atmosphere of an ice fairy tale," the Moscow city news agency quoted the message as saying.

The organizers noted that this year's theme chosen "Engineers of Russia".

"On the big stage of the festival three times a day will go New Year's musical. And in the evenings everyone is waiting for a rousing ice open-air in a magical entourage of ice and lights. And, of course, guests will be waiting for a cascade of ice slides," - stated in the text.

December 12, it was reported that the Museum of Victory on December 18 will open a New Year's exhibition "History in miniature - a look through the ages". The new exposition, timed to the most favorite winter holiday, will tell not only about the traditions of celebrating the New Year, about gifts and Christmas tree toys, but also about the military history of our country.

In the creation of the exhibition together with the Victory Museum took part the Association of military-historical miniatures of the Moscow branch of the Russian Military Historical Society, the Club of military leaders of the Russian Federation, the studio of tin miniatures "Baltic Collection of Soldiers", studio of tin miniatures "Russian Rarity", the Creative Workshop of Vyacheslav Nazaruk, as well as private collectors.

On the same day 360.ru reported that on Friday, December 13, in the urban district of Khimki will start working residence of Santa Claus.

Earlier, on December 11, it was reported that within the framework of the project "Winter in Moscow" in Bauman Garden will show films from the collection of the State Fund, RT reports. Visitors will be able to enjoy walks in the fresh air and immerse themselves in the atmosphere of New Year's holidays by watching Soviet films, Moscow 24 reports.
