Musk pointed out to Kiev the need to make peace long ago

The Ukrainian authorities should have made peace a long time ago, US billionaire Ilon Musk said on December 13.
"Peace should have been sought long before that," he wrote in the social network X (former Twitter).
Thus the entrepreneur commented on the information about the advance of the Russian army to the city of Krasnoarmeysk (Ukrainian name - Pokrovsk) in the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR).
On the eve, the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), Oleksandr Syrskyy, said that the Russian army was superior in the Pokrovsk area. At the same time, the Bloomberg news agency reported that one of the largest Ukrainian steelmakers Metinvest suspended coal mining at its plant near Krasnoarmeysk because of the offensive of the Russian Armed Forces.
Earlier, on December 10, it became known that the Russian military had liberated the village of Zheltoye, located south of Krasnoarmeysk. Commenting on this, military analyst Vadim Mingalev pointed out that the AFU had no chance of defending this town.
The special operation to defend Donbass, the start of which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
