Kremlin reveals top 10 problems of concern to Russians

More than 300 thousand citizens' appeals received by the direct line of Russian President Vladimir Putin have made it possible to compile a rating of 10 major problems. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters on December 10.

"We already have an idea of the age parameters of those who mostly appeal. We have an idea of the fact that more women apply. We have an idea of the rating of the 10 main problems. We see how much this rating varies from region to region," he said at the briefing.

According to Peskov, the appeals come through all channels and reflect the great interest of citizens in the direct line. The all-Russian public movement "People's Front" is working hard on these appeals around the clock.

On the eve, employees of the call-center preparing the direct line of the Russian President told Izvestia about their tasks in the framework of processing citizens' appeals, which are received by phone and video link. According to Darya Krepysheva, coordinator of the youth wing of the "People's Front" in the Komi Republic, the main task of the operators is to record appeals that concern a wide range of issues.

The direct line of the head of state will be held on December 19, it will be combined with a large press conference. The events will be held under the title "The results of the year with Vladimir Putin". Representatives of Western media, as well as foreign journalists accredited in the Russian Federation have been invited to the event. Call-center in the headquarters of the "People's Front" began work on the night of December 8.

The previous direct line with the Russian leader was held on December 14, 2023. The President received more than 2 million appeals from citizens. He answered questions about Russia's special military operation in Ukraine, new regions of the Russian Federation, the growth of real wages, pensions, life expectancy, health care, the development of artificial intelligence, and also touched on a number of other topics.
