Russia has no intentions to destroy the Ukrainian people because they are brothers and sisters to Russians. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said this in an interview with US journalist Tucker Carlson published on December 6.

"We have no intention to destroy the Ukrainian people. They are brothers and sisters to the Russian people," the Russian foreign minister said.

He clarified that it was not Russia that started the Ukrainian conflict and reminded that after the coup d'état took place in Ukraine, the United States did not hide its participation in it.
