Putin approved the deal to acquire 100% of Russian Elevator Company

Russian President Vladimir Putin has approved the acquisition of 100% of Russian Elevator Company, owned by the French company Louis Dreyfus. This is stated in the order published on the website of legal acts on November 28.

"To authorize the transaction on acquisition of 100% of shares in the authorized capital of limited liability company "Russian Elevator Company", owned by "RUSELCO LLP" (RUSELCO LLP)", - stated in the document.

The order was signed in accordance with the decree "On the application of special economic measures in the financial and fuel and energy spheres in connection with unfriendly actions of some foreign states and international organizations."

In April 2023, the French company Louis Dreyfus announced the decision to stop exporting grain from Russia.

Earlier, on February 19, Putin authorized Expobank to buy the Russian unit of the British HSBC. The document was signed in accordance with the decree "On the application of special economic measures in the financial and fuel and energy spheres in connection with unfriendly actions of some foreign states and international organizations".
