Air defense forces shot down two Ukrainian drones over the Kursk region


The Russian Air Defense Forces have shot down two Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over the territory of Kursk Region. This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on November 28.
It is specified that the airplane-type drones were eliminated between 09:00 and 09:30 Moscow time.
"On-duty air defense means two Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed over the territory of the Kursk region", - stated in the Telegram-channel of the Department.
Earlier, on November 27, the air defense forces shot down two Ukrainian UAVs over the territory of the Belgorod region and one over the territory of the Kursk region.
The Ukrainian military attacked Russian positions in the border areas of Kursk Region on August 6. The situation in the region was recognized as a state of emergency of federal character. The operation to destroy the militants continues.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
