Rosgvardiya UAV operator destroys AFU combat vehicle in Kursk region

In the Kursk region, the operator of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) destroyed a combat vehicle of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was reported on Thursday, November 28, by the press service of the Rosgvardia.

"An armored personnel carrier, presumably a French-made AMX-10P, was immobilized and subsequently destroyed by Rosgvardeys during one of the episodes of combat work," the report said.

It is noted that the armed formations of Ukraine were going to transfer personnel and military equipment to the front line. The combat vehicle exploded on a mine, the crew tried to take cover in the forest, but was destroyed by artillery fire, corrected by the Rosgvardeys.

Earlier, on November 11, over the territory of the Luhansk People's Republic (LPR), the Rosgvardeys destroyed a reconnaissance UAV of the AFU aircraft type using a mobile unit equipped on a cross-country vehicle.

After receiving a signal about the approach of the enemy aircraft, the specialists moved to the established point in the LNR and took a position on the path of the UAV. The downed drone was handed over to the competent authorities for further investigation and study of the information available on the UAV.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the backdrop of the aggravated situation in the region.
