An exhibition project of the Arkhangelsk Museum of Local Lore and the Moscow Art Theater Museum. The exhibition is based on the idea of showing the fantasy world recreated in the performance "The Snow Maiden" in 1900 at the Moscow Art Theatre based on Ostrovsky's play of the same name. In search of a true-to-life texture, the play's artist Viktor Simov traveled to the Russian North, to Arkhangelsk and Vologda. "Our Mussorgsky. From the depths..." 12+
The festival is dedicated to the 185th anniversary of the birth of the great Russian composer who sang the history of Russia, originality, richness of traditions and culture. It will unite the creative forces of the Bolshoi and Mariinsky Theatres. Outstanding singers will perform in performances under the baton of maestro Valery Gergiev. There will be live broadcasts in cinemas in many cities across the country.
