In addition, the Russian Defense Ministry noted the professionalism and bravery of Junior Lieutenant Konstantin Repin. He commanded a unit of the Strela-10 anti-aircraft missile system (SAM) and was tasked with covering Russian assault units from AFU fire.

Repin detected a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) approaching the attacking units in the sky, after which he took aim and shot down the drone. In total, the unit destroyed four enemy drones in the course of the combat mission. As a result, the AFU retreated, the Russian servicemen were able to advance deep into the enemy's defense.
