Russian Defense Ministry publishes footage of destruction of AFU combat vehicle in Kharkiv region

Soldiers of the Russian Armed Forces have destroyed an armoured combat vehicle (ACV) of the Ukrainian army using an FPV drone in Kharkiv Region. Images of the combat operation were published by the Russian Defense Ministry on November 25.

The Defense Ministry noted that the servicemen of the reconnaissance unit of the "North" group of forces used the UAV to identify an armored combat vehicle of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), whose crew tried to conceal it in a wooded area.

"After analyzing the intelligence received, a decision was made to fire on the enemy armored combat vehicle. The detected target was promptly destroyed by servicemen of the "North" troop group using an FPV drone," the department said in a statement.

The footage shows combat drones hitting the AFU militants' TBMs with a precise strike.

On the eve of the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the calculations of FPV-drones of the group of troops "North" destroyed a tank of the AFU in Kharkiv region. As noted, Russian servicemen identified the Ukrainian tank in a wooded area.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the beginning of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was made against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
