Azimut airline will pay 100 thousand rubles to passengers of the Sukhoi Superjet airplane that caught fire at Antalya airport. This was reported in the press service of the company on Monday, November 25.
"In connection with the accident at the landing of the aircraft of Azimut Airlines, which performed flight A45051 Sochi - Antalya, at Antalya airport on November 24, 2024, Azimut Airlines will make a preliminary payment to passengers in compensation for losses in the amount of 100 thousand rubles", - stated in the message in the social network "VKontakte".
It is noted that the order of receiving payments to each passenger will be reported individually.
The responsibility of "Azimut", as well as the airline's fleet of airplanes are insured in JSC "AlfaStrakhovanie". The insurer confirmed the amount of payments, and added that the extent of damage to the aircraft, the circumstances and the amount of damage are being investigated.
