GAC returned to the top ten most popular car parks in Russia

According to the results of the 44th week of 2026 (from October 26 to November 1), 558 new GAC vehicles were sold in Russia. This allowed the Chinese brand to return to the top ten of the Russian car market for the first time in four months. The last time she entered the top 10 was on the 28th week. This was reported on November 2 by the analytical agency Autostat.

Lada remains the leader of the weekly rating with a result of 6587 cars sold. The second place was taken by Haval (4280 units), the third by the Russian brand Tenet (3852 units). Next came Geely and Changan, which sold 1,880 and 1,738 cars, respectively.

The top ten also includes the Belarusian brand Belgee (1,593 units), Jetour (1,019 units), Toyota (877 units) and the Russian Jeland (755 units), as well as GAC (558 units), which closed the ranking.

In total, 30.9 thousand new passenger cars were sold in Russia during the reporting week. This is 8.9% more than a week earlier, but 15.4% less than the result for the same period in 2025, the agency estimates.

Earlier in the day, it was reported that from January to September 2026, 13.8 thousand used cars with a plug-in hybrid powertrain (PHEV) were sold in Russia. This is 22.5% more than in the same period last year.
