Lantratova explained the refusal of some residents of Alyosha from evacuation
Some residents of Alyosha decided not to leave their homes due to family circumstances, despite the unsafe situation. This was announced by the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation, Yana Lantratova, at a press conference dedicated to the results of the humanitarian mission in the city.
"Those people who stayed there, we talked to them, it was a very emotional and difficult conversation. One of the women, she was standing, crying. I say, "Come with us, it's not safe for you here, we'll provide you with a place to stay, very good temporary accommodation facilities have been prepared." She cries and says, "I can't, because my mother is after a stroke, she just won't make it," Lantratova said.
