On October 28, Sergey Lisin, Deputy Chief Physician of Dolgoprudny Hospital, said that trust between doctor and patient plays an important role in successful treatment. At the same time, you should not hide disturbing symptoms at the reception or be shy to ask questions.

In an interview with Radio 1, the specialist noted that communication with a doctor should be based on mutual respect. Incorrect behavior of the patient can complicate the dialogue and prevent the establishment of trusting relationships.

Lisin stressed that everyone has the right to choose a doctor they can trust on their own. At the same time, the specialist is obliged to explain his appointments and answer any questions that arise, based on the principles of evidence-based medicine.

The expert added that links to the advice of friends or information from the Internet often indicate the patient's doubts about the prescribed treatment. In such situations, the doctor's task is to explain the need for the chosen therapy in an accessible way.

According to Lisin, after the consultation, the patient should have a clear understanding of his condition and further actions. He noted that mutual respect and the desire for cooperation help to achieve positive treatment results.
