A two-month-old girl left in a wheelchair unaccompanied by adults was discovered by passers-by in the Sovetsky district of Samara. This was announced on October 27 in the main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Samara region.

"The girl was placed in a medical facility, her life and health are not in danger. Currently, law enforcement officers have identified the parents," RIA Novosti quoted the Interior Ministry's press service as saying.

According to the agency, the incident occurred on October 26 on Fizkulturnaya Street. The police are investigating all the circumstances of the incident, the headquarters added.

As one of the local residents said on social media, her eldest son found the stroller in the trash along with other schoolchildren. There was a bottle, formula, and diapers inside—probably the parents were preparing to leave the baby in advance. The woman noted that the police officers who arrived took fingerprints from everyone who touched the stroller.

An abandoned baby was found near an apartment building in Zelenograd on October 24. The child was found in the evening. The child was no more than a month old, he was wearing only a jumpsuit. The boy was examined by doctors, he was transferred to a specialized institution.
