In Tula, trams are scheduled to start moving along the renovated Komintern Street this week. This is reported by the city administration.

"The movement of trams along Komintern Street with passengers is scheduled to begin on October 15. Two routes will be launched: No. 10 to Metallurg Stadium via Demidovskaya Dam and No. 14 to Krasny Perekop," the authorities said in a statement.

According to TSN24, traffic will be opened in one direction with three temporary stops: TYUZ, Frunze Street and Fedor Smirnov Street. Full-fledged two-way traffic on the Comintern is planned to be launched in early November after the completion of work on the arrows.

On Monday, October 12, the technical launch of the tram along the new tracks took place. As Ilya Bespalov, the head of the Tula administration, noted, the trackbed is already ready, and the contractor is now completing work at the stops. Overall, the overall construction readiness of Komintern Street, including the U-turn ring at Moskovsky Train Station and Pavshinsky Bridge, is about 70%.
